So, clearly I put too many defenders in this week as we had 22, so we could attack with 22. Problem is, we don't have 22 active attackers, so we did not win any guild attacks and didn't get the doubling of guild points or weekly summoning stones. We just have to win one attack to get summoning stones.
This week, I am going with 15 attackers/defenders and we will see how that goes. I am choosing those who were active last week. If you plan to be active (or you will know a period of inactivity), let me know via this forum and I can switch people in and out to attack throughout the week. I can't switch defenders until next Sunday. If we gain some more active members or people have more time, I would like to increase our guild D and O to 20.
I have chosen the 15 best defenses as far as I can tell (even if the team member is not actively attacking). I think the whole guild gets defense points regardless if they are in on D or not.
A few more notes:
It is beneficial to attack at your level. If you are a level 30+ and you attack weak defenders, this actually hurts us because our other guild attackers cannot take down the HP% of any green towers. We have a few people only attacking low levels even though they are way higher. If that continues this week, I will have to switch them out to try and get the win. It also hurts those attackers as well because guild points double when we win, so attacking way weaker towers will almost guarantee a loss, especially against high level defensive guilds.
If you attack a green or yellow tower, you take down more HP%. For instance, if you are first to attack and get 2 wins, you take the other team down 51%, the second attack on that tower is 25%, then 13%, etc... So, if we were to take all of the green towers down equally before anyone attacks a yellow one, we would have already taken the whole guild down to less than 50%. Pretty easy win from there.
